Amber Waves No I haven't been blogging but I have been knitting! Here's the proof:  That's the center point from the second Mystery Shawl Along. It's done and blocked and photographed and in my closet and y'all hardly even knew I was working on it because I've been such a bad blogger. I really enjoyed this shawl, the construction was intersting - you knit a small trianglar center portion, cast off along the top, pick up along the sides and add a wide border, then knit on a sideways edging. A number of people complained about the size of the finished shawl, so I decided to make mine bigger by adding two more repeats of clue 4....  (see I have 6 instead of 4) ... and my shawl is HUGE, about 80 inches across the top. I don't think I needed to add the repeats but I like the size anyway.
